Carrefour - Carrefour Kuantan

We are deeply disappointed with Kuantan Carrefour for your poor services rendered. This has happened many many times especially during promotions. We received Carrefour promotion catalogues delivered to our homes and after going thru the items on promotion, usually I would be one of the early birds to come and look for the stuffs. However, we feel cheated over and over again by your misleading and deceiving advertisements. Early this year, I brought my son to look for a schoolbag advertised but felt disappointed as it wasn't there. I demanded to see the person in charged but was told that it had not arrived. How could you cheat our valued customers for that? I mean you'd better not put it in the ads as well since it was not available! You are just like there's a gold coin selling for RM1 but there is no stock for ever!

Never mind that! Just merely a week ago or recently, again Carrefour tried to cheat us in your promotion in which a customer was entitled to purchase so-called 3 selected promotional items at RM1 each but many of those items were not available too! Your lame excuse: sold out or out of stock! What kind of tricks are you trying to display?

The most recent one was yesterday, 8 April 2011. Again you dare to trick us into believing that your goods are unbelieavably cheap? Where was your washing powder 1+1 at RM8.90???? No stocks or unlimited stock? Then where was the King's Mini Aiskrim Potong 1+1 at RM4.95? Another lady customer was looking for it and your staff didn't even seem to know where it was placed! Yes there are many types of King's aiskrim potong except this one.

Who is the bloody stupid manager of this Carrefour? Better resign for failing to perform your duty and tarnishing Carrefour's reputation! I will not keep silent on this matter thought it may sound trivial but I can stand you people up there cheating and tricking all the people of Kuantan as if we are fools. Enough is enough. You better change.

Some time last year (2010) I also encountered the problem when I wanted to redeem my MayBank cash vouchers but was told that there were none because out of stock. SO I demanded to see the manager but he wasnt available. Then someone attended to me but it was a long wait before finally I manage to collect the vouchers and had my Maybank credit card terminated immediately out of disgust!

There are simply too many instances and ocassions but I am tired of listing them one by one.
I shall not stop here but will continue to smear your name for your deception. CarrefoUR HQ please do something about this or I shall forward an official complaint to the authorities concerned: Consummers Affairs and Domestic Trade Ministry and consumer association of Pahang (PAC), to name a few.
